Over £35k was raised through a mobile phone recycling scheme launched by Three and ANOVO. The money was raised through a project collecting handsets across Three’s operations in Maidenhead and Glas- gow and mobile phones contributed by Three’s partners.
With their experience in the mobile recycling and repair market, ANOVO were selected to provide this solution. All proceeds were made available for the Prince’s Trust.
ANOVO designed and supplied recycling bins specifically for this purpose and managed the trading of the handsets as well.
“I was very happy that the project that ANOVO ran for Three did so well in generating money for the Prince’s Trust.
All of these funds will go to support young people across the UK get a better chance at life and we’re all very proud of that.
ANOVO has shown great commitment on this project and I am excited that it has been such a success.” said Patrick Binchy, Business Operations Director at Hutchison 3G
‘We were delighted to be involved in this charity project and look forward to working with Three on similar projects in the future.’ said Stephen Maxwell, Chief Commercial Officer at ANOVO UK.Tags: Charity
