Customisation cuts costs for TalkTalk
TalkTalk is the UK's largest provider of residential broadband, serving over 4 million UK homes. Broadband has continued to see significant growth since 2003, in fact in analysts predict a growth of ca. 1.4 million in 2010. TalkTalk is leading the way by offering the consumer a customised solution delivered to their home.
The challenge that TalkTalk had was: how to give the consumer a plug & play service yet avoid the high installation costs of their customer premises equipment (CPE) incurred from on-site appointments by fully trained engineers.
ANOVO's solution offers TalkTalk a customised to order (CTO) fufilment service. Experienced in CTO, ANOVO developed a multi-level solution to match their consumers' delivery requirements. Level one will deliver a same day turnaround from receiving a consumers order detaills by 12noon to mailing out to the consumers' home. Preparing the device in advance, tailored to the consumers order allows a bespoke plug & play unit to be mailed to the consumer. Today, ANOVO successfully customises up to 7,500 units daily.
